Creative industries cluster
The Fund " Ulyanovsk the cultural capital" was created as a management company of the cluster of the creative industries in the region in order to develop the creative sector of Economy in 2014.
Tasks of the Cluster:
- the organization of the ecosystem for the creative entrepreneurs;
the development, the support and the maintenance of small and medium enterprises in the sphere of culture, the arts and the creative industries;
the development of mechanisms of the urban spaces, the development of the territory through culture.
Operating principles:
- free consultations in the "Single Window" mode;
educational programs for entrepreneurs and for the development of personnel potential in the sphere of culture;
measures of support (technical, informational, etc.).
There is a company-leader business-space "Kvartal".
"Kvartal" is a place for useful communications, business combinations and creativity, and in general is a multi functional creative area: a creative industries center, a community center, a gallery, a concert hall, a library, a theater, a cinema.
There are some vacant spaces for preferential rent for the creative entrepreneurs in the "Kvartal".
The creative entrepreneurs have already rented all seven spaces for 2016. Their activities range from event industry to production of Handicrafts.
